JR Rohrer is a Commercial Lines Account Producer for Synergy Insurance Group focusing on Church and Church related risks.
JR was a self-employed Farmer before attending Ashbury College and Purdue University. He received a degree in insurance, specializing in life insurance sales.
In 1963 he started in the insurance business with his own agency. In 1970 he merged his own agency with his father-in-law's Virgil Weldy Insurance Agency to form the Rohrer-Weldy Agency Inc.
JR has earned a reputation as a specialist in Church and Church related risks. He has received the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designation.
JR has been a Board Member and Financial Advisor to the Missionary Church, Inc., served 30 years as Treasurer and Board Member of the North Central District Missionary Church, and been on a Board Member and current Treasurer of Hubbard Hill Estates.
He is past president of the local Lion's Club, and Wakarusa Chamber of Commerce. He has been active in the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana. He is a member of the Wakarusa Missionary Church. JR's principal recreational interest is golf.
